《格林童话》是国际民间文学研究领域的圣经,格林兄弟一直被尊奉为国际民间文学研
究的创始人。事实上,格林兄弟首先是语文学家与日耳曼学家,他们搜集与编纂民间文学的工作,
是作为他们的语言、历史与法学研究的总体工作的一部分展开的,因此,理解格林兄弟的民间文学
研究,应该放在其语文学与语言学的研究背景中来进行。

Grimm ’sFairyTalesisthebibleinthefieldofinternationalfolkliterature,andthebrothersGrimmhavebeenhonoredasthefounderofinternationalfolkliteratureresearch.
Infact,thebrothers
Grimm werefirstandforemostlinguistsandGermanists.Theirworkincollectingandcompilingfolklore
wascarriedoutaspartoftheiroverallworkinlanguage,history,andlaw.Therefore,thestudyonthefolk
literatureofthebrothersGrimmshouldbecarriedoutinthecontextoftheirstudiesonChineseliterature
andlinguistics.
